MoMA: How Giorgia Lupi visualizes life through data
I edited and animated this short video about the fantastic graphic designer Giorgia Lupi for the Museum of Modern Art. I worked in Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 along with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
My Personal Animated Documentary "Thing I Like"
During the worldwide heartbreak of the COVID pandemic and the personal heartbreak of losing my father, I turned to my art as a way to heal. When my work from before the pandemic felt too painful to return to I created "Things I Like," a short animated film about things I like to draw and think about with loving commentary by my friends.
Screened at ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival, LA Femme International Film Festival, The Palm Springs Animation Festival, and the Cindependent Film Festival.
Brooklyn Museum Social Media Series for "Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo (feat. Takashi Murakami)"
I worked with the social team at The Brooklyn Museum to create a series of four videos about their exhibition "Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo (feat. Takashi Murakami)" and the compositions that their composer in residence Niles Luther created to pair with the artwork.
Shona McAndrew: Just the three of us
I filmed and edited this short documentary for Art Omi about Shona McAndrew's installation "Just the three of us."
I film McAndrew as she carefully assembled life size works of sculpture and reflected about women and their place in art history, society, and most importantly in each other's lives.
Youtube Series: At the Museum
I assistant edited and acted as production assistant for season 2 of the Museum of Modern Art's behind-the-scenes Youtube Series At the Museum.
Instagram Reel for The Museum of Modern Art
I produced and edited this video for the Museum of Modern Art's Instagram. I worked with MoMA’s design and digital content teams to create a fun, inviting, and professional video for Instagram Reels. This video is the first of a three part series that has collectively garnered more than one million views and won a Webby Award for Best Content Series Social 2022.
I created animations and filmed Super8 footage for this trailer for David Zwirner Gallery's book Point Break: Raymond Pettibon, Surfers, and Waves. I filmed both at Coney Island and at my home on my own Super8 camera to create some of the atmospheric shots in the promo. I created the on-screen text based on Pettibon's handwriting and animated the text to appear naturally on screen. Overall it was a really fun project and I'd love to do more animation and Super8 filming in the future.
Lance Oppenheim's Doc Series "Ren Faire"
I worked as an assistant editor on "Ren Faire," Lance Oppenheimer's three-part series from Elara Pictures and HBO for a year and a half beginning in 2023. I worked on Premiere Pro Productions handling over 100 days of footage. I created proxies, ingested footage, created cutdowns, and mostly importantly kept everything organized before onlining for color and sound. It was a fascinating process that taught me so much about editing, storytelling, and, of course, renaissance faires.
